What do the latin phrases "Legium pro Britania" and "Denai surenum defit" from the film 'Withnail And I' mean?
Withnail uses them both as ripostes to Uncle Monty, the first when out walking after lunch and the second whilst they are playing cards. Any ideas?

- Legium pro Britania The first site gives this as a "requiem for England" page 33 http://books.google.com/books?id=IYS1iWXH5qcC&pg=PA33&lpg=PA33&dq=%22withnail+and+i%22+latin&source=web&ots=ylw2RdLcD7&sig=6vXW3k-RaBwyHfzcp2Cb7RVJObY&hl=en#PPA33,M1 The cards: Monty (in Latin): "Looking a bit lonely, isn't he?" Withnail (in Latin): "He needs a queen to come to the rescue." This link below takes you to a group that are arguing about what it means.
