Generic Phrases
Can anyone help me translate these Latin phrases?
I have tried to piece together some sort of translation from online translators but haven't had much luck: though the results are amusing at times. I am doing a family crest art project for my Husband for our 2nd anniversary coming up, and want to know what our respective family motto means. - In- preposition meaning- toward, into Domino- lord,master Spes- hope Mea- me,myself Hope towards my master (of the household, usually means the husband)
- If this has a religious significance, it is likely to mean My hope (is) in the Lord (or...my Lord). Otherwise, My hope (is) in my master.. Spes Mea = my hope In Domino = in the lord/master/ruler etc.
