  1. yes ask a latin person how to speak there language don't be scared .. actually go out and speak to one. maybe one of those at the border who are being kicked out of the country for being illegal.
  2. I'm sure you could do a yahoo or google search- you are not the only one interested so I bet they are out there. "semper ubi sub ubi" (always wear underwear) one of my husbands----Good luck!
  3. You should be able to find what you want on this link. http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:hfuS5xNOnvYJ:www.italatin.com/latin.html+online+latin+dictionary&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=10
  4. the best translator is babel fish. they can translate to and from any language you can think of!
  5. Can't go wrong with wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Latin_phrases There are tons listed on links from this page.
  6. Every single on-line translation site is useless, or worse. Wherever I open my dictionary, there will be several examples on the page of an English word with a choice of three or more Latin equivalents, depending on which English shade of meaning is being used. Is "page" a sheet of paper, or a little boy in uniform? Is "smart" clever, or painful? And a couple of weeks ago, I submitted an answer telling the questioner the five different Latin words for "darkness", and which different kind of darkness each of them meant. Nobody can automate these choices for you.
