Can someone please tell me what are Compound Words, Prepositional Phrases, and Possessives are?
What does the Compound word "sea paths" mean? How about the Prepositional Phrase "winters of grief" mean? And the Possessive "ocean's face mean? Thanks! All help is appreciated. PS: These words come from the reading, Beowulf!

- Possesive's show ownership. Ocean's face means that it is the face that belongs to the ocean
- Sea Paths- Two words put together to make one complete word. Theres a sea, and a path.
