Are a)to stop, b)from spreading ,c)to grow, d)out of control, e)to escape, or f)on purpose, prep. phrases? How about g)'for a change'? Can change be the object? And h)'in the construction'? Would construction be the object? oh, and for i)'On October 8, 1871', would the object be the whole date or just the year or just the month? And by the way im not stupid...just bad at english. :D

  1. to stop, from spreading, to grow, to escape...i think those are the only ones. in "for a change", change wouldnt be the object...the obj. would be the thing changing. i) the object would be the whole date. im bad at this too i think so dont take my word for it lol hope im right!
