does ANYONE know any USEFUL FRENCH PHRASES?

im going to PARIS on the 16/08 and i was wondering if you have any useful phrases please could you give me some useful phrases and tell me what they mean? thanks in advance! can you tell m what they mean in english please as well by the way im going to practice french so i dont want to speak english to them!

18. You'll need "Excusez moi, parlez vous Anglais?" (ex-cue-zay mwah, par-lay voo ong-glay?). It means, "Excuse me, do you speak English?" Hopefully they'll say Yes and then you can just say "Merci" (mer-see)/ "thankyou!" Waiters or shop assisstants might say, "Que desirez vouz?" (ker dayzeeray voo)/what do you want? or perhaps, "Puis-je vous aider? (pweezh voo zehday)/can I help you?
