  2. Hey if you just want the meaning of the words, try http://dict.leo.org/ Its the translation from English to German and German to English.
  3. VAS IS LOS --- WHAT'S HAPPENING ALL IS KLA ---EVERYTHING IS COOL. IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME, I WAS OVERTHERE IN 1982 TO 1984
  4. A favorite used often in Germany is "Macht Nichts" = "Makes no difference"
  5. Well I'm in Switzerland so the colloquial is quite different, but let me see... First of all the person above got the phrases fine and the pronunciation clear but the spelling way off: Was ist los? and Alles klar! One I need a lot is "Entschuldigung": excuse me. Also "Es tut mir Leid" which is "I'm sorry" but more literally "it gives me sorrow".
  6. I think the above mentioned are really good and common and also foreigners know them: Alles klar? = Everything's ok? Macht nichts!=Doesn't matter. Geht es dir gut?= Are you ok? Was macht das Leben?=How's life going? Wie geht's, wie steht's?= Just: How are you? Schönen Tag noch!=Have a good day. Viel Spaß.=Have fun.
