Generic Phrases

What Catch Phrases do you use in your City?

Such as "your trippin', "my bad", "awesome", "sweet", "that's sick", meaning tight or cool, or "you already know", "that's hot". I tend to use cool alot and that's rad.

  3. In the suburban Detroit area the kids are using a six-letter racial epithet (you can probably figure out which one) but it's not being used to describe people with a certain color of skin as it has been in the past. This word is now being used to describe people of a certain attitude -- mostly white gangsta wanna-be's that emulate urban culture. I caught my nephew using this term to describe one such gangsta wanna-be and I warned him not to use that word within 50 feet of anyone of African-American descent unless he wants to get the crap kicked out of him. But apparently there is a growing sect of teens and pre-teens in the suburbs here who think urban culture is not cool in any way...
