Good Phrases?

Can anyone help me to pick up sentences from books and underline the good phrases in it. i want phrases that describe how a person looks like, describe how a person behaves or does and action or feels and describe a place, object or weather. Please include the meaning of the phrases and the book where the sentence is taken from . Example: When Miss Honey entered the study, Miss Trunchbull was standing beside her huge desk with a look of scowling impatience on her face. [Roald Dahl, Matilda] (Phrase to describe the look on someone’s face) Sorry for not to bracket the pharse.
