Generic Phrases
What are some phrases from other countries to use in replace of common American phrases?
I'm an American and I get so tired of blokes my age always using words like "oh my God," "cool" and "like" in every bloody sentence! I would much rather use words from countries like the U.K. and Australia. What are some phrases from other countries to use in place of common American words/phrases? e.g. using the Australian word "mate" instead of America's "dude" Best answer given to whoever lists the most words/phrases!
