Courtesy phrases for the office!?
I have to come up with 52 courtesy phrases by the end of the day for my HR officemates and put it up on a board. Phrases like "With pleasure" (instead of a plain yes), "may I be of assistance?" and the like. Would appreciate your ideas!

- 1. Thank you. 2. I'm sorry. 3. Please let me get back to you. (Instead of: I don't know). 4. Is there anything else that I can help you with? (Instead of: what else?) 5. Goodbye. (Instead of "click")
- Would you "please" get the hell out of my way. Excuse me, but your tramp stamp is showing. For a big fat man you sure don't sweat much. Who ate all the "friken" Krispy creams. Thanks for throwing up in the trash can. There's five for you.
- haha, let me help you some... i'm at work myself and i'm about to sleep... 1. saying "pardon" or "i'm sorry, i didn't catch you. could you please repeat?" instead of "What???!!!" or "Huh???!!!" 2. "excuse me." (and smile) if someone is in your way. 3. "one moment please." instead of just saying "hold on" or "hang on" or "wait". 4. greet everyone "good morning" in the morning when you arrive at work. 5. if boss asks you to do something, say "no problem!" or "okay!" or "yes, sir/mdm" instead of "'kay" or *nod* or "mhmm." 6. if someone would like a favor from you and you're busy, say "i'm sorry i don't have the time to help you this round. perhaps another time." instead of "no time!" 7. if someone is pushing his/her job to you, say "i'm sorry but that's not in my job scope. i'll help you in other ways if i can, but not this particular job." instead of "not my job!" or "do it yourself, i'm busy!" 8. on the phone when a customer is complaining bitterly to you even though it's not your fault, never scold or mumble words to them. just say, "yes, i understand how you feel, however..." 9. if you made a mistake, own up. say, "i'm sorry. it's a miscalculation--my fault." 10. if someone accidentally puts his things on your desk, say "i'm sorry, may i know who put these things here?" not "Who put their stuff here???!!!" my contribution from my head... anyway, courtesy phrases used in the office are usually colleague to colleague, boss to colleague, or employee and person on phone.
